Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering (E&TC) involves designing, developing, and testing electronic equipment used in various systems. It also deals with the manufacturing of electronic devices, circuits, and communications equipment.
Employment opportunities for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering are growing exponentially and so are entrepreneurship opportunities. The list of employers includes the companies from telecommunication industry, core electronics industry as well as IT industry.
The Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Department at ICEM is well equipped with the Highly Qualified and Skilled Teaching Staff with Industrial Experience, Sophisticated Laboratories and state-of-art infrastructure. To bridge the gap between industry and academia department offers industry visits, expert sessions, Project based learning, Internship to the students. To improve the skills the department provides extra input through the soft skill, Aptitude sessions and certification courses on the recent technology. In addition to this, students are encouraged to participate in the professional activities like Smart India Hackathon, Seminars and Conferences, Workshops and TechFests.
Vision of the department is to develop innovative ideas ,knowledge and skills required to give an optimum result in the respective field and to develop professionals who are academically and technically strong having attitude to help the society and ready to compete for globalization.

The The Electric Vehicle (EV) Expo held at Auto cluster,pimpri chinchwad provided an insightful look into the future of transportation and sustainability. A key feature was the focus on autonomous driving and connectivity, with several EVs offering advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and integration with smart city infrastructures. EV charging stations and fast-charging solutions were a significant part of the expo, with developments in ultra-fast chargers being a popular discussion point.

The event was planned and executed by the Electronic Engineering student association of E & TC Department, with active participation from the second-year students. The celebration commenced with an inspiring speech delivered by our college principal Dr.Nilesh Uke. A special guest, Dr.Saurabh Gupta academic dean of our college was invited to speak about the role of youth in nation-building. The cultural committee of our department has organized a variety of performances. The second-year students showcased their talents through a dance performance, skits, and musical performances. These performances highlighted themes such as unity, perseverance, and the power of youth in shaping a better future. Our second year student shreya kakad has deliver the wonderful speech about swami Vivekananda as a youth icon.

A time-bound competition where participants were tasked with wire buzz game and tech quiz were conducted. A fast-paced quiz covering electronics, communication systems, current technology trends, and general science. Winner get declared and prize also distributed from both the games.
