- Bachelor’s Degree: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university. The degree should be approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or the equivalent accreditation body.
- Minimum Marks: Candidates generally need to have secured at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in their undergraduate degree.
- GATE Score: A valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score is typically required. The GATE score should be relevant to the Mechanical Engineering discipline.
- Non-GATE Candidates: Some institutions may conduct their own entrance exams or consider other national level entrance exams for non-GATE candidates. However, preference is usually given to candidates with a valid GATE score.
- Maharashtra Candidates: For state quota seats, candidates must meet the domicile requirements as specified by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. ICEM has a wonderful group of faculties who have a great bonding with students and parents. Various good companies come to college for campus interview, placement is also good.
